Police in Mogotio Baringo County have launched a manhunt for a man after he is suspected to have stabbed his girlfriend to death.
The suspect who has been identified as Gibson was a worker at a local barbershop as a manicure and pedicure therapist.
It has been reported that the suspect had suspected his girlfriend Kate Wangariof having an affair with another man an employee at a nearby timber yard.
Reports indicates that, Gibson confronted the two love birds when they were together at the timber yard. On seeing Gibson, Kate's alleged lover fled the scene to save his life, leaving Kate at the mercy of her enraged boyfriend who went ahead to fatally stab her two times on the left side of her chest and on her back before fleeing the crime scene.
Kate was rushed to the Mogotio Sub County hospital by some good samaritans and was pronounced dead upon arrival.
