PROGRESS As Cameroon Turn Away 21 Out of 30 U17 Players From The National Team Camp

The Cameroon football Federation has dismissed 21 u17 players from the team that was to represent the West African nation in the upcoming UNNIFAC U17 qualifiers.

This action came after the direction from the football governing body of Cameroon to have players undergo age test known as MRI test.

The 21 players dismissed were found guilty of reducing their age by tampering with their birth certificate.

'' This is action is the result of strict instructions from the president of FECAFOOT acting under the mandate of COMEX in order to put an end to the diddling of civil status which has in the past tarnished the image of the Cameroonian football governing body. " read a section of the notice posted by the body.
