Allegations have been going around that some retired teachers have not been able to access their retirement pensions as they've been required to first pay some amount of money to cartels in the SRC and TSC first before they can be wired to them failure to which their money are transferred back to the treasury.
Earlier this week Kileleshwa MCA Robert Alai who before being elected into the County Assembly leadership role, was famously notorious for exposing classified secrets from tight end corners of high end offices in the country alleged that teachers were being asked to pay an upwards of ksh200000 to cartels in order for their pensions to be processed.
In a post which was targeted to the president of Kenya William Ruto, the blogger turned MCA revealed that teachers were losing 50% of their pensions to conmen in the TSC offices.
In a twist of events in the morning of January 21st 2023, Alai has issued a good news to the said teachers with his early in the morning post of claims that things were beginning to look rossey from the government end.
He posted that the retired teachers will never suffer again as the government was making progress as far as their cries were concerned.
