Ruto Revokes Appointment Of Mp To Chairperson Of Powerful Board

This morning, the president of Kenya Dr. William Ruto have made changes to appointments that had been made on 19th January 2023.

The most notable change is the reversal of the appointment of the Narok North Constituency,  Hon. Agnes Pareiyo as the Chairperson of the Anti FGM Board of Kenya.

As per the gazetted notice, in accordance to the constitution of Kenya, the president has therefore appointed Surum Ipato Korema as the new Chairperson of the Anti-FGM Board of Kenya for a period of six years.

With the immense experience Surum posses having served as the UDA strategist, she proved to be an ideal candidate for the position and will assume the office as from 20th January 2023. 

Pareiyo was elected to Parliament on an Azimio La Umoja coalition ticket.
