Bruno Fenarndes Goal again Manchester City was allowed to stand despite Marcus Rashford being in an obvious offside position.
The Portugal International brought back Manchester United into the game at the 78th minute after finding the back of the net from Casemiro's assist.
The Brazilian played a long through ball for Rushford who started the run from an offside position. The England forward did not touch the ball but instead left it for Bruno who found the net with a curling effort from the edge of the box.
The linesman initially ruled the goal out for offside but the centre referee Stuart Atwel decided to award the goal after consultation with the VAR as Rushford did not touch the ball and neither did he interfere with the Manchester City defenders, leaving the visitors furious.
The Premier league explained to the broadcasters that "the flag went up, ref and the linesman had a conversation, deemed no touch on the ball from Rushford and no impact on the defenders not being able to play the ball.
